CAN YOU RELATE TO THIS?

Not only is being in pain miserable enough, when you add into the equation that you have a corporate healthcare system that...

Treats you like a number in the system...

Doesn't give you the attention you deserve...

Passes you between therapists and staff who never take time to learn your full story...

Constant commute to doctors' offices and inconvient appointment scheduling...

Inconvenient appointment scheduling...

FAQS

How do I know if I need occupational therapy?

Occupational therapy can benefit individuals recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or experiencing difficulties with daily activities. If you’re unsure whether occupational therapy is right for you, contact us for a consultation.

What conditions do you treat?

We can treat anything for which you would typically see an outpatient therapist! This can include:

- neurological diagnoses/cognitive impairments

- pain

- orthopedic injuries and/or joint replacement surgeries

- coordination deficits

- history of falls

- heart and lung disorders

We also have a special clinical interest in Ehlers Danlos. Occupational therapy can benefit individuals recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or experiencing difficulties with daily activities. If you’re unsure whether occupational therapy is right for you, contact us for a consultation.

What can I expect during my first visit?

During your first visit, our therapist will conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand your needs and goals. This includes discussing your medical history, current challenges, and lifestyle. Based on this assessment, we will create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

The number of sessions needed varies from person to person and depends on several factors, including the nature and severity of your condition, your overall health, and your treatment goals. During your initial consultation, our therapist will assess your condition and provide you with a personalized treatment plan. While some individuals experience relief after just a few sessions, others may require ongoing care for more chronic issues. Our goal is to provide you with the most efficient and effective care to help you achieve long-lasting results. Your progress will be continually monitored and adjusted as needed throughout your treatment plan.

Why use a mobile occupational therapist?

Mobile occupational therapy offers numerous benefits, including convenience, personalized care, and a comfortable environment. It eliminates the need for travel, reduces stress, and allows the therapist to address specific challenges in your home setting. By coming to you, we get the best picture of your life. This way, we can perform home assessments and adapt your treatment plan to fit your personal environment. This also limits exposure risk for anyone who is immunocompromised and improves access for those with mobility or transportation challenges.

How does in-home therapy work?

In-home therapy allows you to receive professional occupational therapy services in your own home. Our therapists bring all necessary equipment and tailor the therapy sessions to your home environment, making it more convenient and relevant to your daily life.

Do you accept insurance?

We are excited to announce we are now credentialed with Medicare! We also accept direct-pay clients.

In order to provide the highest level of services, we will remain out of network for other insurances. This allows the clinician and the client to decide on the best treatment plan, not someone at the insurance company. These clients have the option of self-submitting a reimbursement claim to their insurance if they have out-of-network benefits.

How can I prepare for my in-home therapy sessions?

To prepare for your in-home therapy sessions, ensure you have a safe and clutter-free space where the therapist can work with you. Your therapist will provide any additional instructions based on your individual treatment plan.

How do you ensure the quality and safety of your services?

Our licensed and experienced therapists adhere to the highest standards of care. We regularly update our practices based on the latest research and guidelines in occupational therapy. Additionally, we follow strict hygiene and safety protocols to protect our clients and staff.
